A ship's summing gearbox has been developed for the pairing of two diesel engines with a power of 7 kW. The gearbox is reversible two-stage. The reversal is carried out by means of a reversible complex consisting of friction-toothed clutches of reverse and forward travel. To simplify and accelerate the switching of the direction of movement, a retarder brake is installed on the output shaft.
