As part of the import substitution program, the VRK-850(800)-L project with EC-engagement, powered by an electric drive, has been developed. This VRK is an analogue of the foreign column of the company Schottel.
In our VRK bearings and electric motors of the Russian production are used. The use of EC gearing in the lower gearbox allowed to reduce its diametrical dimension and, as a result, reduced drag compared to foreign analogues. Also, the use of EC gearing in the VRK led to an increase in the efficiency of the column, which allows using an electric motor with a lower power (800 kW) without loss of performance. Developed in the Republic of Kazakhstan has smaller mass-dimensional indicators.
