As part of the import substitution program, the VRK-750 project has been developed with an EC engagement operating through a clutch from a 750kW diesel engine. The use of EC gearing in gears (high efficiency, has a higher transmitted torque) made it possible to reduce the cross section of the Midsection and increase the efficiency of the VRK.
The weight in the Republic of Kazakhstan without a bottom box is ~ 7000 kg. The diameter of the VRK screw is 1750 mm.
